You and three of your friends will enjoy two great rounds of golf and an overnight stay in the beautiful surroundings of Columbus, IN. In 2004 the city was named one of "The Ten Most Playful Towns" by Nick Jr. Family Magazine. In the July 2005 edition of GQ magazine, Columbus was named as one of the "62 Reasons to Love Your Country," and in late 2008, National Geographic Traveler ranked Columbus 11th on its historic destinations list, describing the city as "authentic, unique, and unspoiled." Otter Creek - Home to 26 Indiana Amateur Championships Located in Columbus, Indiana, Otter Creek Golf Course is a premier public championship golf course that all golfers of all levels can play. It has been ranked among the top public golf courses in the U.S. since it opened in 1964. Robert Trent Jones Sr., the world’s most prolific golf course designer at the time, designed the original 18 holes in harmony with Southern Indiana’s gently rolling hills. Designed to ensure each shot a natural challenge, Jones has distinguished Otter Creek as a championship golf course unique to all others. Otter Creek, a 27-hole public championship golf course always in great condition, continually intrigues even the most accomplished players. It is a must-play. Harrison Lake – “A Place Where People Want to Be” Harrison Lake Members teed off for the first time in 1947. The original golf course, designed by Bob Simmons and Gary Kern, was enjoyed by many HLCC members until 2020. In 2019, Tim Liddy, Pete Dye's key assistant for 29 years, was selected to work with HLCC to design the new course and practice facilities. Much of the original course layout, beautifully nestled in the rolling hills of south-central Indiana near Brown County just west of Columbus, was kept intact, but the golf course now looks and plays much differently. The club and golf course remain integral to the surrounding Harrison Lake neighborhood community. Includes overnight stay at Holiday Inn Columbus, a brand-new boutique hotel and host hotel for our upcoming AJGA CIRCLE K Junior Championship at Otter Creek in late June. =============================== Details: Included: Greens fees for two 18-hole rounds, carts, range balls (4 players) Overnight stay: Two Rooms at Holiday Inn Columbus Restrictions: This package can be booked based on availability.
