Black Bear Golf Club, opened in 1995, features some of the most unique holes in Central Florida. The course is a P. B. Dye designed Championship 18 hole links style par 72 golf course.The Black Bear layout extends well over 7,000 yards and features undulating greens, dramatic fairway elevation changes and over 120 natural sand bunkers set in pristine Central Florida surroundings. P. B. Dye designed the Black Bear course with multiple tee positions to be both a true challenge to the discerning golfer as well as an enjoyable experience for the recreational player. Black Bear Golf Club has hosted seven US Amateur Public links events, Canadian Tour events as well as several Hooters Tour events. Currently Black Bear is home to a select number of PGA and LPGA tour players. EVENTS! We will host over 150 events this year and we can provide you with a complete service; from advice on format or provision of elements like hole in one grand prizes through to designing and delivering the catering that suits your event. A note from Payne Stewart Kids Golf Foundation: Our FIRST annual national online auction is raising money for our kids golf programs. The Payne Stewart Kids Golf Foundation supports Payne Stewart Golf Camps & Clinics. These unique programs provide a complete golf learning experience for kids ages 4-9 years old. Using unconventional spaces to bring golf to the masses, the camps and clinics make any gymnasium or soccer field a golf learning center to teach children the fundamentals of both golf and life. Payne Stewart Golf Experiences advance Payne’s vision by creating new golf spaces that give more families with kids the ability to learn and play golf. This is the first and only golf learning program to combine fun, games-based play with modified, age-appropriate golf equipment and faith-based life skills curriculum.
