HCC is located in West Henderson and is the only private country club in Vance, Granville and Warren counties. The majority of our members come from Henderson and Oxford but some come from as far away as Wake Forest and South Hill, VA. All agree that HCC's fine dining, our clubhouse facilities, tennis courts and pool are second to none. Combined with a friendly and hospitable membership HCC is a warm, family environment that is unparalleled in the area. Our 18-hole championship style golf course has wonderful character and can challenge some of the best in the state. It has been redesigned many times since the 1920’s and the old sand greens of West End Country Club. In 1968, Gene Hamm, who also designed North Ridge CC in Raleigh and Roanoke Country Club in Virginia, redesigned our course. A note from Payne Stewart Kids Golf Foundation: Our FIRST annual national online auction is raising money for our kids golf programs. The Payne Stewart Kids Golf Foundation supports Payne Stewart Golf Camps & Clinics. These unique programs provide a complete golf learning experience for kids ages 4-9 years old. Using unconventional spaces to bring golf to the masses, the camps and clinics make any gymnasium or soccer field a golf learning center to teach children the fundamentals of both golf and life. Payne Stewart Golf Experiences advance Payne’s vision by creating new golf spaces that give more families with kids the ability to learn and play golf. This is the first and only golf learning program to combine fun, games-based play with modified, age-appropriate golf equipment and faith-based life skills curriculum.
