Designed by famed golf architect William P. Bell, the Brookside Golf Club boasts a 75 year golf tradition. The 36-hole complex is the oldest golf course in Los Angeles County. Regularly rated one of the top 15 golf courses in California, Brookside served as home to the Los Angeles Open in 1968, which was won by Billy Casper. It has also hosted the National Publinx Championship. Owned by the city of Pasadena, Brookside Golf Club features two 18-hole tracks: the C.W. Koiner Course, a par 72 measuring 7,228 yards, and the E.O. Nay Course, a par 70 measuring 6,046 yards. To hone your game, the facilities also include: the John Wells Pro Shop, two practice putting greens, a chipping area, practice bunker and a driving range providing everything you need for an exceptional golf experience. The Payne Stewart Kids Golf Foundation supports Payne Stewart Golf Camps & Clinics. These unique programs provide a complete golf learning experience for kids ages 4-9 years old. Using unconventional spaces to bring golf to the masses, the camps and clinics make any gymnasium or soccer field a golf learning center to teach children the fundamentals of both golf and life. Payne Stewart Golf Experiences advance Payne’s vision by creating new golf spaces that give more families with kids the ability to learn and play golf. This is the first and only golf learning program to combine fun, games-based play with modified, age-appropriate golf equipment and faith-based life skills curriculum.
