The Concession is a Jack Nicklaus/Tony Jacklin co-design in the Bradenton-Sarasota area in Southwest Florida. Bryson DeChambeau won the 2015 NCAA Championship at The Concession, becoming the first SMU golfer to capture the NCAA individual title, by one stroke over C.T. Pan. In a little more than a decade, The Concession Golf Club, the best private golf course on Florida’s West Coast, has drawn raves from all around. Making its debut in 2006 as Golf Digest’s “Best New Private Course,” the championship golf course is currently ranked by Golf Digest as the seventh-best course in Florida and home of the 2021 PGA Workday World Golf Championship at The Concession. This top private golf club in the Tampa Bay area, located in Lakewood Ranch, is a quick trip from Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa and the area’s famed beaches, shopping and arts attractions. The Concession was named after a famous sportsmanlike gesture, but the course concedes nothing to golfers looking to shoot a low score. This might be the most challenging golf course in Florida. The 392-yard hole No. 8 has earned the distinction as one of the three best Par-4 holes in the state. And the Tampa Bay Business Journal notes that The Concession Golf Club has both the highest course rating (76.7) and slope (153) in the Tampa Bay area. The greens are fast and undulating, with plenty of obstacles before players even reach the pin. This package can be booked based on the availability of the generous Concession member.
