Home of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, presented by Mastercard Each March, the best golf professionals in the world come to Bay Hill to compete in one of the most popular tournaments on the PGA Tour. Golf enthusiasts around the world have been hooked on this annual showdown of golf’s biggest names, as seen in last weekend's showdown with top-name players and a first-time winner, Kurt Kitayama! The breathtaking course sweeps across 270 acres along the Butler Chain of Lakes shores open only to Club members and registered guests. The 18-hole "Championship" course features 7,205 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The Champion, Challenger, and Charger links feature 27 holes of tour championship golf, a challenging though fair test for professionals and amateurs alike. History surrounds you around all turns at Bay Hill. Arnold Palmer still lives and plays the grand course. With the tournament hosted annually in March, you'll face the same tournament conditions with fast, slick greens, pristine fairways, and high rough. Over the years, Bay Hill has received many awards. In 1997, Golf Digest ranked it 97th of "America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses" (14th public course, 6th in Florida). In 1996, Golf Magazine placed it 2nd on its list of Silver Medal Resorts and 15th within the "Top 100 Golf Courses You Can Play in the US." The course rating is 75.1, with a slope rating of 139 on Bermuda grass.
